Complete guide to using the Osaad platform - from signup to publishing your portfolio
Getting Started
Osaad is a platform that helps you create a professional portfolio website in minutes. Whether you're a developer, designer, marketer, or any professional, you can showcase your work, skills, and experience to the world.
Your portfolio will be live at: osaad.com/your-username
What you can do:
- Create a personalized profile with your bio and photo
- Showcase your work experience and education
- List your technical and professional skills
- Display projects with images and links
- Add portfolio items and achievements
- Get your own public URL to share with others
How to Sign Up
- Go to the Login page - Click on the login icon in the bottom navigation bar or visit /login
- Click "Sign up" - Switch to the sign-up tab
- Enter your email and password - Use a valid email address
- Check your email - You'll receive a confirmation link
- Verify your account - Click the link to confirm
- Sign in - Use your credentials to log in
âš¡ Your username will be automatically created from your email (e.g., if your email is john@email.com, your username will be "john")
How to Login
- Visit the Login page - /login
- Enter your email and password
- Click "Sign in"
- You'll be redirected - To your admin dashboard
💡 Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it.
Managing Your Profile
After logging in, go to Profile in the admin sidebar.
What you can add:
- Profile Picture - Upload a photo (click to upload, click again to change)
- Full Name - Your professional name
- Username - Your unique URL (e.g., osaad.com/your-name)
- Email & Phone - Contact information (shown in footer)
- Location - Where you're based
- Description - Short bio (appears under your name)
- Summary - Detailed about you section
Click the Edit button next to any field to update it.
Adding Work Experience
Go to Work Experience in the admin sidebar.
Fields you can fill:
- Company - Name of the organization (required)
- Position Title - Your role (required)
- Location - Where you worked
- Start Date - When you began (required)
- End Date - Leave empty for current position
- Company Logo - Upload a logo image
- Description - Details about your role
- Badges - Tags like "Remote", "Full-time" (comma separated)
Use the up/down arrows to reorder your work experiences.
Adding Education
Go to Education in the admin sidebar.
- Institution - School, college, or university name (required)
- Degree/Certificate - What you earned (required)
- Start Year - When you began (required)
- End Year - When you completed (required)
Adding Skills
Go to Skills in the admin sidebar.
For each skill, you can add:
- Skill Name - e.g., React, Python, Photoshop
- Icon - Choose from hundreds of icons using the icon selector
💡 Search for icons by name in the icon selector popup.
Adding Projects
Go to Projects in the admin sidebar.
- Project Title - Name of your project (required)
- Date/Period - When you worked on it
- Description - Details about the project (required)
- Technologies - Tech stack (comma separated)
- Project URL - Link to live demo or repository
- Status - Active or Inactive
- Image - Upload a project screenshot or logo
- Video URL - Link to a demo video
Portfolio Items
Go to Portfolio Items in the admin sidebar.
This section is perfect for showcasing:
- Hackathon participations and wins
- Client websites you've built
- Freelance projects
- Achievements and awards
- Case studies
Image Upload Guide
Where you can upload images:
- Profile picture (in Profile section)
- Company logos (in Work Experience)
- Project images (in Projects)
- Portfolio item images (in Portfolio Items)
How it works:
- Click on the image upload area
- Select an image from your computer
- Wait for the upload to complete (shows spinner)
- The image will appear as a preview
- Click again on the image to change/replace it
Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF (max 5MB per image)
Your Public Portfolio Page
Once you've added your information, your public portfolio will be live at:
osaad.com/your-usernameWhat visitors will see:
- Your profile picture and name
- Bio and description
- Work experience (in an accordion format)
- Education history
- Skills with icons
- Projects with images and links
- Portfolio items in a timeline
- Contact section with your email and WhatsApp

Profile
Use a professional photo and write a compelling bio
Work Experience
List your most recent jobs first with detailed descriptions

Add at least 5-10 relevant skills with proper icons

Include screenshots and live links to your best work

Showcase client work, hackathons, or personal projects
Keep Updated
Refresh your portfolio regularly with new work
